For all those who leave their faith on the shelf when entering the workplace, comes a new guide which says...YOU NEED GOD AT WORK!
Wouldn’t it be great if we could take back the numerous mistakes we make in life? The comments that are blurted out innocently, but cause hurt feelings. The letters and emails that are written and sent during times of turmoil—when it is more important to us to get our message out, than to edit it. And, what about all of the actions we take that are not planned or well-thought out! Let’s face it—there are times when we hurt ourselves and others.
As mothers, and/or caregivers, we often strive to create a perfect existence for those we love. When “real life” intervenes, with all its frustrations and imperfections, we are often quick to blame ourselves. We think it is our fault when loved ones disappoint and life doesn’t go exactly as planned.
In “real-life,” mistakes are made constantly. This is because we are all imperfect, whether we want to admit it or not. However, the beauty of life is that our mistakes often lead us to growth and renewal. Many times, making a mistake is the only way we learn. What a lesson this is for our loved ones! Perhaps if we get out of the way, and let them make little mistakes, they will learn enough to avoid the big ones.
It starts with us. As mothers and caregivers, let’s acknowledge our imperfections. Try as we might, we will not get everything right. But that’s okay—mistakes are allowed!
